The pastel colored, heavy set Michael Graves' Portland Building is the first primary post modern period architectural structure with a coppered and hammered Portlandia statue - a huge Goddess of Commerce image situated in the front.

The Portlandia Statue at 39 feet is the second in height to Statue of Liberty and is one of the most prominent landmarks of Portland, Oregon. Admission to the Portland Building is free of charge and it is open daily.
