How would one be advised to pack in order to protect oneself from the weather in Portland
If you are traveling to Portland between the months of June and October, the weather is not a major issue. During this time the weather encourages a number of outdoor activities like adventure sports, flower festivals and other events. Since a large number of tourists also visit Portland in other times of the year, the rains would force you carry ample protection.
A raincoat for each and rubber boots should be good enough to be able to travel around in the city. For protecting the elderly and kids from rains and the chill, especially in December car rentals and services are a good means.
