Visiting Pioneer Place Mall - A Wonderful Downtown Shopping Destination in Portland
Pioneer Place Mall is one of the biggest shopping arenas for locals and visitors in Portland. The mall is located near Pioneer Courthouse Square - a major landmark - and is almost a duplicate of the more renowned Lloyd Center shopping mall in Portland's downtown as well. However, Pioneer Shopping Mall is a place where you can find stores exclusive to this mall of Portland, and hard to find in the rest of America.
The interesting shops in Pioneer Place Mall are part of the long passages that continue into skywalks. Skywalks are one of the trademark designs of the Pioneer Place Mall, and they interconnect the series of buildings that make up the entire shopping complex. The mall also offers a great collection of restaurants, which can be the ideal services after you have made your initial rounds for any new releases.
Pioneer Place Mall is essentially an upscale mall. A large number of fashion stores make up only a part of the trade and business. One of the largest malls you will ever come across shopping in Pioneer Mall is a great experience as visitors of all ages have loads to enjoy. Movies and dining are one of the biggest crowd pullers.
Moonstruck Chocolate Cafe, Romano's Macaroni Grille, Sushi and Seafood Buffet as well as a multi-option food court continue to dominate the dining scene in the mall. The mall remains open between 10 am and 8 pm, and 11 am to 6 pm on Sundays. Located on SW 5th Avenue, the mall attracts a large number of cruise takers.
Portland Museum of Art, City of Books, Japanese Garden and a few other facilities are amongst the places you can visit, preferably after shopping and a refreshing lunch at the mall.
