The Portland White House is best experienced in the summer when the flowers that make the structure a great facade are at bloom. The occasional hummingbirds and the hanging flower baskets makes Steve's courtyard garden in the house a wonderful afternoon retreat.
The interior of the house even makes it even well appreciated. European chandeliers lavish its ancient ceilings and its dining room is formally lined. What makes the Portland White house even more regal are its sweeping staircase, glorious glass windows, and Large Parlor highlighted with a grand piano.
This elegantly historical house is indeed Portland finest antique treasure. Along with its eight rooms in the Carriage house, it has definitely become a dream house of many.
