Portland Meadows

Located on the Gertz Road, the Portland Meadows serves as a horse racing ground in winters and a concert area and a golf course in summers. The place has been esteemed as a great place for entertainment because fun is not present inside its boundaries only, the Lewis River East Fork and Vancouver Upper Turning Basin are also nearby.

Portland Meadows is not only a place to play golf and watch horse racing; it also has arrangements for white water paddling on the Clackamas River, paddling on the Lewis River East Fork, swimming and fishing. The Broughton Beach is also at a short distance from the place and that is why, a large number of people like visit here time and again, whenever a person travels Portland.

Portland Meadows also serves as a great place for camping lovers and keeping this in view, there is a special camp ground made here. Switzler Lake is also in near neighborhood. Mary S.
