The entire Portland area revel at this time period and also has a great time celebrating the Christmas season and lots of these holiday traditions go back for decades.

There is also the Portland International Raceway Winter Wonderland. This event is acclaimed as the "Largest Holiday Light Show West of the Mississippi" and has become a major tourist attraction by now.
The Portland International Raceway is located off exit 306B of I-5, seven miles north of downtown Portland.
Viewing hours are Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Friday and Saturday from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. You can surely go there and take pleasure in the event.
