If you prefer traveling by car, make sure to familiarize yourself with the routes. Please notice that the downtown Portland is definitely a grid of one-way streets. Park Avenue is one-way southbound and the Jefferson Street is one-way heading west. Follow the driving directions below and ensure you won't be lost.

1) From North of Portland

When you're coming from Seattle, Vancouver or Longview, take I-5 S to Portland. Then you need to take exit 300B for Oregon City. Please keep to the right at the folk, follow signs for City Center and merge onto SE Morrison Bridge. Continue to drive onto SW Washington Street and turn left onto SW Broadway. Continue to turn right at SW Main Street and take a left turn at the 2nd cross street onto SW Park Avenue. The museum is just two blocks ahead.

2) From East of Portland

If you're from Hood River, Pendleton or Troutdale, you can head northwest on I-84 W. Take the I-5 S exit on the left toward City Center. Then you need to keep right at the fork and follow the road signs for City Center and merge onto SE Morrison Bridge. Proceed on SW Washington Street and turn left onto SW Broadway. Drive for approximately 0.3 miles and turn right onto SW Main Street. Turn to your left at the 2nd cross street onto SW Park Avenue. The museum is just about 308 feet ahead.

3) From South of Portland

Visitors from Salem, Albany, Medford or Eugene can take I-5 N to Portland. When you're approaching the downtown area Portland, just follow the signs to I-405. Continue to drive along I-405 and take the Salmon Street exit. Turn right onto SW Salmon Street and keep on driving for 5 blocks. Turn to the right on SW Park Avenue and the museum is located two blocks in front of you.

4) From West of Portland

Guests coming from Hillsboro, Forest Grove, Cannon Beach or Seaside should take Route 26 E to Portland. When driving through the zoo exit, please pass through the tunnel. Then you need to take the City Center exit for SW Market Street. Switch left onto 10th Avenue and proceed forward for five blocks. Make a right turn onto SW Salmon Street and drive for one block. Turn right onto SW Park Avenue and you'll find the museum just two blocks ahead.
