How to get to OMSI?

Conveniently located south of downtown Portland, OMSI can be easily reached from all major interstate roads or primary destinations in the city. Suggested driving directions will be shared in the following part for your handy reference:

From I-5 Northbound

- Take the right-most lane when crossing the Marquam Bridge in Portland

- Exit 300 (marked OMSI/Central Eastside Industrial District)

- Stay on the right lane

- Make a right turn onto Water Ave.

From I-5 Southbound

- Exit 300 when approaching downtown Portland

- Stake the left-most lane

- Follow the OMSI signs to Belmont Ave.

- Take Belmont Ave. east to 7th Ave.

- Make a right turn onto 7th Ave

- Take 7th Ave south to Clay St.

- Take Clay St. west to Water Ave.

From I-84 Westbound

- Move to the center lane when approaching downtown Portland

- Follow the OMSI signs when I-84 merges with I-5

- Merge onto Belmont Ave.

- Make a right turn onto 7th Ave

- Take 7th Ave south to Clay St.

- Take Clay St. west to Water Ave.

From Hwy 26 Eastbound

- Take the right-most lane when the highway merges with the Vista Ridge Tunnel

- Drive onto I-405 southbound

- Follow signs to I-5 northbound

- Refer to the directions from I-5 Northbound

From Portland International Airport

- Head east on Airport Way

- Merge onto I-205 southbound

- Follow signs to I-84 westbound

- Refer to the directions from I-84 westbound

From Downtown Portland

- Head east to cross the Hawthorne Bridge or Morrison Bridge

- Stay onto the right lane

- Head east toward 7th Ave.

- Make a right turn onto 7th Ave.

- Take 7th Ave. south to Clay St.

- Make a right turn onto Clay St.
