No matter which kind of parking you look for, PDX will always satisfy you to the heart's content. Specifically, there are five types of parking optional at PDX, including short-term, long-term, economy, valet, and motorcycles & bicycles parking. 1) Short-term parking garage is located adjacent to the Terminal and offers over 3,300 spaces for public parking. If no specific instructions posted, the clearance of this garage is 8 feet. This facility is connected to the Terminal via a skybridge on the Level 4 and the tunnels. The parking rates of short-term parking are $3 per hour and $24 per day.
2) Long-term parking is located behind short-term parking garage and close to the Terminal building. This 7-story garage provides over 3000 covered parking spaces and is connected with the Terminals through the tunnels and moving sidewalks. The maximum height of the vehicle can not exceed 8 feet except where posted. Parking fee is $16 per day per vehicle.
3) Located next to I-205 and off Airport Way, economy parking lot is divided into Red and Blue sections. The Red lot is close to NE Marine Drive while and Blue one is just off the NE Airport Way. There are clear color-specific parking shelters and signs to lead you to the right one. Totally, economy parking lot offers over 7,800 spaces and the rate is $10 per day per vehicle, free on the 7th day!
Considering the distance to the Terminal, there are free parking shuttles delivering passengers to the main Terminal every 7 to 9 minutes starting from 4 am until midnight, and every 15 minutes from midnight to 4 am. The pick-up and drop-off zone is located at the Baggage Claim level at the Terminal. More importantly, all these shuttle buses are wheelchair accessible for the disabled.
4) If you are in a busy schedule and have no time to park the car by yourself, valet parking at PDX is willing to do you a favor. Parking fast comes true and easy at so called Gold Key Valet, which is located between the Terminal and short-term parking garage. This facility, along with its courteous and attentive staff, will await you 24 hours a day throughout the year and it is never full here. The blue airport signs will show you the way to "Valet Parking" and drop-off section is found on the outer lane of Ticketing/Departures Level. The rates are $10 per hour and $30 per day for each vehicle. Please note that the special disable parking rate is not applied to valet parking!

You can lock up your bicycles at one of the two ribbon lanes located at the north and south ends of the Terminal Building. Additional bicycle parking (fenced) is available next to motorcycle parking which is near Concourse E and free as well.
- Good to Know:
As a user-friendly airport, PDX takes the parking need of the disabled into consideration and provides convenient parking spaces for them. The marked disabled parking spaces are available on every floor of the garage and arranged near the elevators, and more spaces are found in Red and Blue economy lots near shuttle shelters.
Discounted maximum parking rate is applied in the short-term and long-term garages, as well as the economy lot. It is $10 per day for the disabled having a valid license card, placard and permit alike. Disable parking fees are collected at one of any open cashier booths at the Exit, not at the automated Quick Pay machines inside the garages or lots.

- Arriving at Portland International Airport
1) From the South - Guests from the south have two available route options. Both Interstate 5 and Interstate 205 can lead you to PDX. When you're coming from I-205, please take I-205 N to Airport Way West exit. Then you can follow NE Airport Way to the airport terminal.
If you're driving along I-5 N through Portland, proceed on until you come to the I-84 East Exit. After taking the exit, you need to head on I-84 E to I-205 N. Exit onto I-205 N. Afterwards, you should take Airport Way West exit off I-205 and drive along NE Airport Way. You'll find the PDX terminal.
2) From the North - Passengers driving from I-5 should take I-5 S towards I-84 E. After merging onto I-84 E, you're required to take I-84 E for I-205 N. Keep on driving on Airport Way and you'll be directed to the terminal of the Portland International Airport.

- Departing from the Portland International Airport
1) To Points East - After exiting the airport, you need to take Airport Way to I-205 S. Take a right turn and merge onto I-205 S. Then, you should proceed on I-205 S and follow to I-84 East exit.
2) To Points South - It's quite easy to get to any destination in the South from the airport. Just take Airport Way towards I-205 S.
