The garden is differentiated by Plaza level and upper level. Our Lady Grotto is the heart of the shrine. The garden houses Grotto's chapel of Mary, gift shop, conference center, and visitor complex. These buildings are located in the plaza level of the garden.
The Grotto's counseling center and Grotto's spiritual programs are organized to comfort support and heal the individual. The upper level of the garden is at 110 feet above the plaza level of the grotto. The upper level of the shrine is one of the largest green spaces in Portland. The garden features more than 100 sculptures, ponds and spectacular views.
The welcome Center & gift shop was opened in the year 1995. This center houses the gift shop, coffee shop, and restrooms. There is an indoor and outdoor seating facility in the center. The center will be opened from Monday through Sunday.
