
A Brief Intro of University of Portland: A Private Roman Catholic University
The University of Portland is Roman Catholic University of Oregon established in 1981. This private university of Portland is famous for women's soccer and it is 9th ranked university in the west. It is the only university in Oregon which offers five divisions of study at a single location.
College of Arts and Sciences is the core of the university which has seventeen departments like biology, chemistry, English social work, sociology etc. Many departments offer graduate studies along with undergraduate majors.
